Undergraduate Studies Unit
The Undergraduate Studies Unit at the Mwalimu Nyerere University of Agriculture and Technology (MNUAT) plays a strategic role in the development of academic program and day to day management of undergraduate programs. As the coordinating body for all undergraduate academic affairs, the Unit is instrumental in shaping the academic direction and ensuring the quality and relevance of the programs offered across various colleges and schools within the university. Its core responsibilities include the development, review, and continuous improvement of undergraduate curricula in alignment with national educational standards and industry needs. This ensures that students receive a well-rounded and competitive education that prepares them for local and global job markets. The Unit, in addition, provides one on one advice to students in matters related to their academic progression, program selection etc.

It works closely with academic departments and the University Senate (through Senate Undergraduate Studies Committee) to monitor compliance, provide academic guidance, and ensure that changes to programs are implemented effectively.
