In a strategic move to enhance service delivery and streamline administrative processes, staff of the Mwalimu Nyerere University of Agriculture and Technology (MNUAT) have undergone a five-day training on the Government e-Office System.

The training, conducted at the University’s Main Campus in Butiama from July 28 to August 1, 2025, focused on equipping employees with the necessary digital skills to improve their daily operations through the use of the e-Office platform.

Facilitated by experts from the President’s Office – Records and National Archives Department, the training involved staff across all levels, including senior management, officers, and support personnel. Participants were urged to uphold integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism when handling government information through the system.

By adopting the e-Office System, MNUAT is taking a significant step toward a more transparent, accountable, and efficient public service culture, aligning with national efforts to digitize government operations.
