Legal Services Unit
Welcome to the Legal Services Unit at Mwalimu Nyerere University of Agriculture and Technology (MNUAT). This Unit provides legal advice and support on all matters affecting the University, both internally and externally.
We ensure that MNUAT operates in full compliance with its Charter, the Universities Act, national laws, and internal regulations. The Unit plays a key role in safeguarding the University's legal integrity and guiding decision-making at all levels.
What We Do

Legal Advice: We advise university management and governing bodies to ensure all actions follow the law and institutional policies.

Compliance Support: We help the University meet its legal obligations as a government institution.

Contract and Agreement Review: We support the drafting and review of legal agreements, including partnerships, funding arrangements, and collaborative projects.

Legal Risk Management: We guide departments and technical units in identifying and managing legal risks in their operations.
